Varc licence terms

The rules for Varc Free and paid Personal, Pro, and Team licences.

Effective 30 August 2026 · Version native-licensing-2026-08-30

/Varc Free

Free is permanently available without an account, activation, licence key, or licensing network request. It provides the capabilities and limits described on the pricing page and may be used for personal or commercial work.

Moving to Free because a paid licence is removed, revoked, no longer verified, or does not cover the running build never deletes local profiles, credentials, scripts, queries, recordings, layouts, or preferences. Some retained state may remain inaccessible until paid access returns.

/Paid Personal, Pro, and Team

Personal, Pro, and Team are paid perpetual licences and provide the capabilities described on the pricing page. Personal and Pro are assigned to one licence holder. Team seats and member keys are assigned through the Team owner or administrator.

A purchase or renewal includes one year of new Varc builds. Builds released during that update period remain usable under the licence forever. Renewal is needed only for builds released after the updates-through date.

Paid activation may use an independent 30-day signed verification lease and a plan-specific device limit. That verification window is not the update period and does not turn a perpetual licence into a subscription. Billing, refunds, taxes, and invoices are handled under the checkout terms presented by Paddle.

/Licence checks and acceptable use

Varc may verify a key, device allocation, licence status, plan, and release entitlement online. Do not evade feature limits, device limits, licence checks, or access controls; resell or sublicense Varc; distribute keys; or use another person’s account without permission.

We may suspend or revoke access for fraud, payment reversal, material breach, unlawful use, or compromised credentials. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue. Removing or revoking a licence does not delete your local data.

/Software and responsibility

Varc can connect to and modify databases. You remain responsible for connection targets, commands, scripts, backups, access controls, and reviewing changes before applying them. Debugging, recording, replay, and rewind features do not replace tested backups or operational safeguards.

To the extent permitted by law, Varc is supplied without warranties beyond those that cannot legally be excluded. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits your mandatory consumer rights.

/Changes and contact

We may update these terms. A material change will use a new version and will be presented with the relevant paid purchase or renewal flow where acceptance is required.
